I create digital montages using photographs taken with my phone, combined with images of my own paintings and textures from everyday surroundings. These works are built through digital layering, blending elements of photography, painting, and scanned materials into cohesive compositions. The process involves selecting, cropping, and recontextualizing visual fragments to explore themes such as nature, identity, displacement, memory, and the layering of personal and collective narratives. This hybrid approach allows for greater control over composition and meaning, while maintaining a connection to analog techniques through the integration of painted and hand-made textures. The resulting images are neither fully documentary nor abstract — they occupy a space in between, where captured moments are reconstructed into new visual languages.
